C4 MEMBERS:

Krystal Alvarado- I am a Senior majoring in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry. I am currently doing research under Dr. Joanna Mott on the microorganism Vibrio vulnificus. I enjoy playing inline hockey at Port A (scoring on Mike), catching an Ice Rays game, taking trips to Austin, going camping, and relaxing with friends.

Mike Gregory- I am a Junior chemistry major. I am a researcher for Dr. Causgrove studying the coil-to-helix formation of rn119 and rn120 peptides. I also am a member of Sigma Xi, AED and the American Chemical Society. I like camping, playing pool and running. Most of all though, I love playing and watching hockey. I play goalie Sundays in Port Aransas at the Roller Hockey Rink there. My favorite NHL team is the Dallas Stars (GO TURCO!!) and of course...GOTTA CATCH THE ICE RAYS!

Mitch Winters- I am a Junior majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Marine Biology. I am currently doing research with Dr. Causgrove dealing with flouresence. I am very good at inline hockey (basically if I wasn't born in Texas, I would be pro). I also enjoy fishing, buying things, surfing, camping, grilling, and traveling.

Leila Samadi- I am a Senior that loves taking pictures and drinking Red Bull. I hope to go to optometry school

Christos Elias- I like surfing, and Pink floyd. I recently received 1st place at the sigma Xi Undergraduate Research Symposium. I am currently researching the synthesis of isolated natural products under Dr. Southard. Of course I love chemistry too!

Courtney Snyder- I am a junior Environmental Chemistry major. I work for the Chemistry Department with the Advance Lab Coordinator, and also do research with Dr. Silliman in Harte Research Institute. I love being outdoors which is why I chose my particular major. I hope to move back to Alaska and work with the oil companies and hazardous waste facilities.

Jordan Yanc- I like all science! Its awesome!

Janny Chang- I am majoring in chemistry and I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and playing pool.

Kelsey (Bray) Fisher- I am also a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Alpha epsilon Delta, and Beta Beta Beta. I'm from Kansas and I'm a Bio-medical major with a minor in Business.

Jason Dreyer- I am a chemistry major who recieved Member of the Month last semester. I enjoy doing demonstrations and fishing.

Henry Walther- I enjoy learning about chemistry. I would like to go into Food Science. I love to surf, even when the waves aren't huge :)

Brandon Roberts- I am majoring in biology.

Leo- I play a lot of video games, and I like to think that I am really creative, but I never really make anything.

Mathew Anderson- I enjoy running, playing guitar, video games, and I am a part of Team Causgrove. I do research on peptides.

Newton Le- I enjoy playing tennis and going to new places.

Rahil Shah- I am majoring in Biomedical sciences, and am currently doing research dealing with fish stressing (animal Physiology). My future plans are to become a dentist.

Justin Agado- I am very passionate about the outdoors and I love to hunt and fish.I am an avid weightlifter and I am a former football player and I got to play in the Alamo Dome in the State championships.

Nick Kent-I'm a chemistry major and I'd really love to end up doing pharmaceutical research. Hopefully next year I can start some kind of chemistry research, although as to what, I have no idea. Outside of school I love playing soccer and really any kind of sports.
