The new material on the final exam will come from sections 9.1 - 9.7 of chapter 9 and the orbital hybridization described in section 10.2 (pages 439-449, omitting multiple bonds). Omit sections 9.8 - 9.11 which does include formal charges. I did mention formal charges in lecture, but they will not be on the exam. Omit the rest of chapter 10 outside of section 10.2.
