I am originally from Mazatlan, a small coastal city on the Pacific side of Mexico. Before coming to the CMSS program, I had the opportunity to work in private, governmental, and non-profit organizations, either as an intern or as a full-time employee in both Mexico and the United States.
Research Interests
My main interest is urban development along the coast. Currently, I am studying the potential hazards to Texas barrier island settlements as a result of erosion processes and sea-level rise.
