John S. Wood is a student in the TAMUCC Coastal & Marine Systems Sciences Doctoral program, and a Harte Fellow for the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies. His research interests include the use of spatial information in environmental applications and research, coastal and wetlands management, habitat conservation, site selection and planning, and GIS education. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Geographic Information Sciences.
